It is a great pleasure for us to present our new HC for the Kristianstad Predators 2025 Men's Team - Christian Glasnovic. Christian comes from Sjöbo with a background at Ystad Rockets.
"Coach Glasso" was with the Predators in 2024 when we made the step up to the Super Series, with the role of Special Teams Coordinator. It has been a very educational year where I have also had to work with him in the U19 team during the autumn.
Christian has a sound philosophy that fits the direction the club wants to go. He has a very educational approach which the players like. He wants to build on the foundations, values and philosophy that the club builds up in youth activities.
Christian Glasnovic began his journey in American football in 1999, and has since established himself as both an experienced player and coach. He has played in the Superserien, Sweden's highest league, and has won SM silver on both the men's and junior side. Over the years, he has developed a deep understanding of the game's dynamics and strategy, which has shaped his leadership on and off the field.
Christian has his background in Ystad, where he also coached and contributed to developing American football at the local level. He has been the head coach for the district team Södra and for the Nordic Lions, an All-Star project that he runs himself. Through Nordic Lions, Christian gives young talents from the Nordic countries the chance to travel to the USA and have the opportunity to play there, which opens doors for their future careers.
During the 2024 season, he was the Special Teams Coach for the Kristianstad Predators and played a key role in strengthening the team's special teams. Now Christian has been given the assignment as Head Coach for the Predators, with the goal of returning the team to their former successes.
For Christian, team spirit is the highest priority. His coaching philosophy is based on each player developing as an individual, not only on the field but also personally. He strives to create a cohesive team where every player feels motivated to perform at their best. By focusing on personal and individual development, both mentally and physically, he hopes to lift the Predators back to our successful days.
With a strong belief in discipline, cooperation and personal responsibility, Christian Glasnovic is determined to build a winning culture within Kristianstad Predators.
